Minecraft mob damage?

Am I the only one or is there anyone else who feels that Mobs with weapons should not have difficulty multipliers set on their damage?

Playing in hard mode for instance any mob with a weapon gains like an extra 50% damage on top of that. As result some mobs can do 15 points of damage in one hit and that’s just too much.

Even when using armors the game seem pretty redundant in the Raids, with losing entire chunks of your health bar to a single hit by a single mob. Now imagine yourself getting attacked by an army of mobs.
